 | Peter Bainbridge
Peter Bainbridge is a self taught artist, born 1/5/64, he began painting wildlife in 1994. His interest in the natural world made wildlife art the obvious subject for his work, in particular birds, for which he has a special interest. He has travelled throughout the U.K., Europe and Africa to get reference for his avain paintings, believing you should see something in the wild before you paint it.His work has sold well at auctions in Christies and Sothebys as well as wildlife exhibitions in the U.K. and Europe including the prestigious "Wild in de Nataur" exhibition in Holland for which he has been selected since 1999. Very Highly Commended in Birdwatch artist of the Year 2004, one of only three winners.
